Open from Web

This feature allows you to open a document directly from the Internet. For example, you can borrow coding tricks from other Online sources, such as HTML code from a page on the Web. It is not mandatory that the file be saved to the Web, and can be saved directly to your hard drive.

 

URL to Open
To open a URL, enter its address, remember to include the 'http://' prefix

Status
This indicates the current status to the download engine. The list will be updated when new information arrives to be downloaded. Newest information is displayed first.

Keep this window open
Using this option, many documents can be opened without opening the dialogue for every individual instance. By clicking on the Open button, the dialogue will remain open for further use.

Open
This function is to be used when you are ready to open the web page. If you are not connected to the Internet, this program will try to initiate a connection.

Close
Exits the window without performing any function.

 

 

Tip:
Most browsers have a built in 'save as' function. By using the built in function you can save the HTML document, including images, into the directory. Note for Opera Users: This is the 'save with images' function.
